Tax advisory requires analysis, documentation and an understanding of your business objectives

Tax advisory does not provide one-size-fits-all answers detached from the documents and circumstances of a case. Every decision requires an assessment of the facts, applicable rules, business objectives and potential consequences.

At SANDRA, we take a practical approach to day-to-day business matters, planned transactions, VAT, corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax (PIT) and dealings with the tax authorities.

We do not promise to eliminate risk. We help identify and reduce it, and document the approach taken.

Scope of tax advisory services

We agree the scope of advice individually, after reviewing the matter, documents and the client’s objectives. Support may include a single consultation, a tax opinion, an application for an individual tax ruling or a more extensive analysis of a transaction or change in the business model.

The right time for tax advice is before your business makes a decision

The greatest flexibility exists before signing a contract, carrying out a transaction, changing a cooperation model or starting a new project. At this stage, you can compare options, review documents and plan your approach before tax consequences arise.

A major transaction, purchase, sale or change in the business model is planned.

The business is entering into an unusual or high-value contract.

A cross-border transaction, payment to a foreign entity or withholding tax (WHT) obligation arises.

There is uncertainty about the VAT rate, the right to deduct VAT or documentation requirements.

The company is planning a profit distribution, loan, financing arrangement or settlements with its partners or shareholders.

The business has received a request from an authority or needs to organise its documentation.

The client wants to apply for an individual tax ruling.

A change in taxation, a move to full accounting or business growth is planned.
